Upon arrival at the hotel on day one, you’ll find your personalized Globe-Trotter roadbook at the front desk. This very complete package of travelling literature includes: the relevant road maps, a copy of your detailed itinerary, some useful travelling tips, the vouchers, the relevant travelling guides, a 24h/7d toll free emergency number as well as a few surprises !
Day 1 – Toronto / Niagara on the Lake (142 km)
After the pick-up of your car, the drive leads you towards the charming colonial town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. You’ll then stay at the famous Pillar and Post Inn. Built at the end of the 19th century, this elegant property is renowned today as one of the finest inn in Canada. It is only a five minute walk from Niagara-on-the-Lake’s main street. The place offers beautiful rooms, a fabulous spa, a salt water indoor swimming pool, a fitness center and a Jacuzzi. Those looking for a fine dining experience won’t be disappointed either as its restaurant has been awarded four diamonds by the CAA/AAA.
Days 2 and 3 – Niagara on the Lake / Toronto (142 km)
Rendez-vous in Canada’s financial metropolis. The “Queen city” has a lot to offer. Stroll along its seemingly never ending streets, admire the famous CN Tower, discover amazing museums and take part to some of its many cultural and sporting events. You’ll then stay at the Soho Metropolitan, a luxurious boutique hotel located in the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment district.
Day 4 – Toronto / Gananoque (297 km)
Since 1896, the Gananoque Inn is the ideal starting point to explore the magnificent 1000 islands area.
Day 5 – Gananoque / Ottawa (170 km)
Continue on towards the beautiful city of Ottawa where you’ll stay at the prestigious Château Laurier, which is conveniently located at a walking distance from Parliament Hill and all the main attractions.
Days 6 and 7 – Ottawa / Tremblant (162 km)
Welcome to the famous Tremblant Station! We indeed invite you to stay in this world class resort surrounded by an idyllic nature. Days 8 and 9 – Tremblant / Quebec City (386 km)
Your destination: Beautiful Quebec City where you’ll relive a page of Quebec’s 400-year old cultural history by stepping out of L’Auberge St-Pierre into the picturesque charming district of Old Quebec. Stumble upon an eclectic array of exclusive boutiques, antique shops and art galleries amidst bistros, sidewalk cafés and gourmet restaurants. On day 9, enjoy a city tour. Day 10 – Quebec City / La Malbaie (141 km)
Standing majestically in all its glory between the sea and the mountains, the Manoir Richelieu has been attracting visitors for over a century. Its rich hospitality tradition allies the peaceful charm of the nature to the elegance of a world class resort. (Breakfast included)
Days 11 and 12 – La Malbaie / St-Alexis-des-Monts (388 km)
The drive leads you along Charlevoix's rocky coastline where mountains spectacularly plunged into the salted waters of the St-Lawrence River. Protected by UNESCO because of its natural treasures and rich cultural heritage, the Charlevoix region consists of many areas of lost paradise that you are invited to discover. You’ll then head towards the Mauricie region where you’ll stay in an outstanding log made resort located in the heart of the Boreal forest. The Sacacomie hotel proposes an escape in the Canadian forest while enjoying a high level of comfort and services. (Dinner included on day 11) (Breakfast and Dinner included on day 12)
Day 13 – St-Alexis-des-Monts / Montreal (130 km)
Rendez-vous in the thrilling and appealing city of Montreal. Second French speaking city in the world after Paris, Montreal combines old world influences with North American modernity in a very unique way. In the hearth of old-Montreal, you’ll be delighted by the Auberge du Vieux Port, a small hotel of great luxury which constitute a fabulous blend of history and comfort! (Breakfast included)
