This very complete package of travelling literature includes: the relevant road maps, a copy of your detailed itinerary, some useful travelling tips, the vouchers, the relevant travelling guides, a 24h/7d toll free emergency number as well as a few surprises !
Day 1 – Montreal
Pick-up your vehicle and rendez-vous in the thrilling and appealing city of Montreal. Second French speaking city in the world after Paris, Montreal combines old world influences with North American modernity in a very unique way.
Days 2 and 3 – Montreal / Quebec City (260 km)
Your destination: Beautiful Quebec City! Rich in culture, history and beauty, Quebec City has the appearance and the atmosphere of an old-world town. Indeed, its old section has kept its historic character and a “Vieille France” charm. (Breakfast included on day 2)
Day 4 – Quebec City / Rimouski (295 km)
After visiting Quebec City, the drive leads you on the scenic road that runs along the majestic St-Lawrence River. Your first stop: the magnificent Bas-St-Laurent region whose dramatic seascapes and rich maritime heritage are yours to discover.
Day 5 – Rimouski / Carleton (255 km)
Continue on towards the Gaspé Peninsula following a scenic road along the St-Lawrence. Heading towards the Baie-des-Chaleurs area, you’ll then drive across the spectacular Matapedia Valley. Don’t miss the Ristigouche Battle Historical Site in Pointe-à-la-Croix, and Miguasha Park whose fossiliferous cliff is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Days 6 and 7 – Carleton / Percé (225 km)
Continue on towards Percé, a charming town located near the legendary Rock. It’s also an excellent starting point for an excursion in the birdwatchers paradise that is the Bonaventure Island. Take also advantage of Percé’s rich cultural life.
Day 8 – Percé / Gaspé (61 km)
A wonderful scenic drive along the Gaspesie rocky coast will lead you to Gaspe. This is where a French navigator named Jacques Cartier took possession of the land in 1534. This is also an excellent starting point from which you can explore the marvels of the Forillon National Park.
Days 9 and 10 – Gaspé / Ste-Anne-des-Monts (208 km)
Nestled in the midst of a cove between the mountains and the sea, this little town is the gate to the fabulous Gaspesie National Park.
Day 11 – Ste-Anne-des-Monts / Tadoussac (284 km+ferry)
Board the ferry from Matane to cross the St-Lawrence River to the North-Shore. Tadoussac, maybe the best place in the world to observe the whales and the belugas awaits you!
Day 12 – Tadoussac / Saguenay (182 km)
To reach Quebec’s “inland sea”, you will drive along the magnificent Saguenay Fjord.
Day 13 – Saguenay / St-Félicien (84 km)

Day 14 – St-Félicien / Trois-Rivières (338 km)
On your way to the raftmen country, you’ll drive along the magnificent St-Maurice Valley. Definitely one of the most beautiful roads in Quebec. This is a wonderful place to truly experience the Canadian forest! The Mauricie region offers you the richness of its natural and cultural heritage.
