| This hotel tour has it all! A well balanced program which touches on the great places and sights in British Columbia and Alberta: ferry through the famous Inside Passage, fjords of the Pacific coast, vineyards in the interior plateau, majestic peaks and turquoise alpine lakes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains - to name just a few. You learn about the history of Western Canada as well as the modern way of life in the different regions. Traveling in a small group makes this journey a more adaptable and relaxed holiday. |

Day 1 - Vancouver:
Transfer from the airport to your hotel. The group meets the guide this evening to discuss the tour itinerary. Overnight at the Sandman Hotel Vancouver Airport.
Day 2 - Manning Provincial Park (Penticton):
Departing from Vancouver you drive east into the mountains of Manning Provincial Park and then on to the warm and dry Okanagan Valley with it’s huge lakes, fruit orchards and vineyards. Overnight at the Sandman Inn in Penticton.

On your way through the Okanagan Valley you stop in Summerland to sample the wines of one of the well-known wineries in the area. Hotel for tonight is the Regent Inn in Revelstoke, the logging and winter sport town in the Selkirk Mountains.
Day 4 - Banff/Canmore:
The visitor center at Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park shows the ongoing battle between the highway- and railroad builders and Mother Nature with her avalanches, raging rivers and rock slides. You reach the Rocky Mountains in Yoho National Park where a stop is made at the Natural Bridge and beautiful Emerald Lake. There is time for a stroll along the lake or for a canoe trip (optional). From Banff it is only a 15 minute drive to Canmore where you spend two nights at the Westridge Country Inn.
Day 5 - Banff National Park:

At the Columbia Icefields you have the opportunity to take a driving tour on the Glacier (optional). Then on to Jasper and overnight at Jasper House Bungalows.
Day 7 - Prince George:
One of Jasper’s many attractions is Maligne Canyon. A short hike takes you to breathtaking views into the depth of the canyon, water roaring up to 50 m below.
