| Come discover the rugged splendour of Cape Breton Island at your own pace! A fabulous program that allows you to explore its spectacular rocky coast as well as the mountains, the valleys and the lakes of its interior. Furthermore, as you’ll be in position to appreciate, the island offers more than natural beauty. The numerous historical sites indeed testify of a long and captivating human history encompassing the Native people, the French, the British, and of course the Scottish. |
Days 1 to 3 – Ingonish Beach
Boldly nestled on a cliff and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, The Keltic Lodge offers breathtaking views as well as a high level of comfort and a fine dining experience.
You will also have the opportunity to fully take advantage of the surrounding nature during a self-guided hike in the legendary Highlands National Park and during an unforgettable guided sea kayaking excursion. Those two activities will provide you with excellent opportunities of observing moose, sea mammals, as well as seabirds.
The lodge is also an excellent starting point to ride the scenic Cabot Trail and to visit the magnificent Ingonish beach. Back at the Lodge, you will have the opportunity to relax by the heated swimming pool or to play tennis. (2 Breakfast, 1 Lunch and 2 Dinner included) |
