Here’s the occasion to discover the fascinating history of Newfoundland while exploring an amazing portion of its rugged coastline. A rich program which features: visit of the French shore, visit of the l’Anse aux Meadows Viking settlement, the observation of the whales, the icebergs, the bird colonies, the sea caves and much more!




Day 1 – Main Brook
Arrive in St-Anthony, learn about the French and Irish heritage of outport Newfoundland while touring the nearby historic community of Conche. Visit the French Shore interpretation center and take a short hike on the Fox Head Trail along Canada Bay. Night at the Tuckamore lodge. (Dinner included)

Day 2 – Main Brook
Spend the day with the Vikings. Visit the only authentic Viking settlement in North America at l’Anse aux Meadows, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, tour Norstead, a Viking port of trade and learn about the history of navigation. Step aboard the replica Viking ship, the Snorri, and hike to the lookout for sweeping views of the rugged Newfoundland coastline. Night at the Tuckamore lodge. (Breakfast included)

Day 3 – Main Brook
Visit the fishing community of St-Anthony and take the Northland Discovery Boat Tour with an experienced biologist to see the sea caves and bird colonies. Spot Icebergs as well as the humpback, minke, and orca whales. Visit also the Grenfell Historic Properties and to the museum and craftshop of Labrador adventurer. Continuation of your individual trip. (Breakfast included)
