Days 1 to 3 – Lewisport
In addition, you will take part in those 2 amazing activities:
1– A fabulous open sea cruise during which you will see an astonishing phenomenon: the gigantic Groenland Icebergs floating slowly off the rugged coastline of Newfoundland. Altough they represent an actual danger for the navigation (the Titanic sunk after hitting on of those icebergs), the boat you will board will enable you to safely observe these mountains of ice. Along with magnificent icebergs, you might have the opportunity to also observe graceful humpback whales, dolphins, seals and seabirds.
2– Come aboard the Mussel Bound, a catamaran vessel, for an informative, yet exciting, boat excursion in historical and beautiful Fortune harbour. Streaming through a maze of Islands, you will soon arrive at the site of one of North America’s largest mussel growing operations. On your way back, you will enjoy a fabulous mussel feast! Bon appetit! (2 Breakfast and 2 Dinner included) |
