| Come and connect with the wild side of nature in the wilderness back country of the Cariboo Mountains. This exciting back country adventure takes you into the high country. Feel the freedom as you breathe in the fresh pure mountain air. Your adventure will take you into the high alpine, the ‘land beyond the tree’, where you will see wildlife and experience life of the wild mountain dwellers. You will be guided by local knowledgeable, caring guides who will ensure your safety and a memorable experience. You’ll then stay at the Pyna-tee-ah Lodge which is located on the picturesque south shore of Quesnel Lake. |
Days 1 to 3 or 4 Williams Lake
Here are some of the exciting things you will experience during your stay:
-Alpine hiking (with our trail system, a short hike puts you on the peaks and in high mountain valleys in an hour or less).
-Free hand rock climbing.
-Wildlife viewing (grizzly, black bear, mountain goat, caribou, moose, wolf, birding, wildlife calling and tracking, etc.).
-Interpretative walk in the ancient forest.
You’ll indeed have the opportunity to travel the backcountry and mountain valleys and peaks with Gary Zorn who has a lifetime of grizzly bear and wildlife experience and knowledge. Gary’s passion for the ‘big bears’ has led him into the backcountry for many years and it has provided him with a wealth of knowledge that he’ll be more than happy to share with you. (2 Breakfast, 2 Lunch and 2 Dinner included) in 3 days / 2 nights and (3 Breakfast, 3 Lunch and 3 Dinner included) in 4 days / 3 nights. |
