Description du forfaits

An evening spent observing the black bear in his natural habitat, a day spent paddling on an endless lake, hours and hours listening to genuine stories from an authentic modern-day trapper who’s brave enough to enter a bear’s cave in order to affix an identification mark as it hibernates...

Day 1 – Laurentians Wildlife Reserve
Arrival at the end of the day at the Auberge Le Relais. Meet your nature guide at the site. At 4 pm, departure to the Portes-de-l’Enfer of the Laurentians Wildlife Reserve and arrive at your log cabin. Leave to observe the bears (miradors). Return to the pavillion for dinner, a discussion follows on the wolf and bear, then hear about the history of the deer reserve with your host, a professional who is passionate about his work. Night in a log cabin or similar. (Dinner included)

Day 2 – Laurentians Wildlife Reserve
Today is filled with diverse typical activities: a ramble in a rabaska canoe, a visit to a trapper’s tent and an initiation to the call of the moose, or more exactly the call of a female moose in heat. Picnic lunch on a grand lakeshore. Continuation of activities in the afternoon, then return to the pavillion at the end of the day (Breakfast and Lunch included)
